Vinchiaturo, formerly Ruffirium, now lives beyond the Town limits: it is a state of mind and a badge of honour. On these pages it is a membership based community, a Linkedin confraternity of men and women who dared the odds and beat them. This is not a website: it is a log and a "documento" of the res gestae of a people who invented the Oscan language and alphabet when others were sharpening flint stones for hunting. Today we speak the lingua franca of Engish, but our thinking is local and at the same time global. Here is a cheer to the young men and women of Vinchiaturo the Diaspora.

This is not a Website. It is a “documento” of public record, so please let us only write graffiti with a message, and not send messages that are ONLY graffiti. Let the contributions come from within the Town itself- God knows there is no shortage of bright and illumined minds in Vinchiaturo. Let the contributions come from any Vinchiaturo heart within Italy itself and its extension, the European Union. From Eastern Europe, the African Continent, the federation of the Americas, Australasia and all the forgotten corners where somebody from Vinchiaturo works, lives, plays and contributes to the new and evolving cultural identity, evident in individuals and groups, without borders, genders, sexual orientation, with no Linguistic barriers. Let the multicultural Canadian experience be the model. Fiat Lux.

We are a work in progress. Ultimately you will determine how this public document will turn out : send us your suggestions. For now, we set out our Mission Statement and a few Enabled features.
